Once the proposed Mumbai Metro between Versova (Andheri West) and Ghatkopar(West) becomes operational, travel time will be reduced from the present 1 hour 45 minutes to about 20 minutes. The 11.4 km stretch of metro has 12 stations. Coaches are arriving and trail run is expected sometime in May 2013.
